TOKYO COFFEE FESTIVAL 2016 autumn : PHOTO REPORT

Release Date: Sep 28, 2016

Tokyo Coffee Festival was held last week on September 24 and 25 at United Nations University in Aoyama. 34 cafes and roasters set up shop and served coffee to over 40,000 people. It was a rainy day on the Saturday, but that didn’t stop a huge crowd of people lining up to discover new tastes. Roasters were represented from all over Japan as well as 4 roasters from Taipei and 1 roaster from Sweden. Guests could purchase 5 cups for 1,000yen or an original mug designed by Takahiro Takeuchi (founder of @goodcoffeeme) and drawn by the one and only Mariya Suzuki (@mariyasuzuki) for 700yen. There was entertainment on the first day by Laid Back Bicycle and on the second day by The Lagerphones from Australia. Here’s some photos taken on the Sunday by Nik van der Giesen (@nvdg81)
